Brita Long Brita Long is a skilled trial attorney with over 12 years of experience and over 200 jury trials and 250 bench trials.  She has extensive experience with all phases of trial and pretrial work. However, she works swiftly and diligently to determine whether a fair resolution can be reached without having to proceed to trial.

Professional Leadership
Brita Long is currently serving on the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) Continuing Legal Education Committee which provides policy guidance for the WSBA CLE Department in fulfilling its mission of serving the ongoing education needs of Washington lawyers. Ms. Long has served on the WSBA Judicial Recommendation Committee which makes recommendations to the Governor of the State of Washington on judicial appointments. She has also been a member of the WSBA Amicus Brief Recommendation Committee which makes recommendations to the Washington State Supreme Court on whether to accept certain cases for review and advises as to how the court should rule on certain cases.

Ms. Long is currently a member of Washington Women Lawyers and the King County Bar Association.

Interests
In addition to her law practice Brita Long enjoys photography, home renovation, fine art, cooking, and travel.

Brita Long was featured as the cover story for the South Sound Women Magazine, Winter 2007.

Brita Long's letter entitled Lawyers leading by example was published in the Washington State BarNews - Letters to the Editor in December 2010.
