One of the many ways we distinguish ourselves from other firms is our unparalleled client service. Our mission is to take a genuine interest in our clients, understand their objectives, and exceed their expectations.

We accomplish our mission by:
Providing unparalleled client service
- We hold ourselves to the highest ethical standards.
- We listen to our clients to ensure we understand their objectives.
- We keep our clients informed and respond within hours to their calls.
- We deliver creative and effective solutions.
- We seek to exceed our client's expectations.
- We target our work to effectively meet our client's needs.
- We perform annual audits, continual random surveys and our practice standards are continually reviewed and updated.
- We limit our practice areas to be able to provide exceptional legal services.
Always working harder
- Continuous learning and personal and professional growth are implicit in a career with Brita Long. The minimum continuing legal education (CLE) requirements for Washington attorneys averages 15 hours per year. Our minimum CLE requirement is 60 hours per year.
- We also are continually expanding our professional knowledge, judgment and skills through non-legal study.
Teamwork
- We work efficiently and effectively to exchange information and actively engage in collaboration to achieve our client's goals.
- We attract and retain highly motivated and talented individuals, treat them with respect, create endless opportunities for growth, recognize their performance, and provide competitive compensation for their hard work.

Examples of what we have done in the past to serve our clients. Examples like this do not happen often (thank goodness), but when needed we go the extra five miles.
- Drafting an emergency motion on Easter.
- Spending hours on Mother's Day with another client emergency.
- Bringing documents to a client in the hospital.
- Bringing documents to a client's construction job site for him to sign and having to walk up a steep hill in a dress suit and heels.
- 1:00 a.m. phone call marathon when client's child "missing" with mom.
The bottom line is that we do what needs to be done, when it needs to be done.
